If crafting the way people interact with digital products excites you, User Experience Design is your jam. We’re looking for a bright and resourceful designer who will step into a consumer’s mind, channel a brand’s vision and let their creativity take the wheel.
Panchgani or Remote
2-4 years experience as a designer
A portfolio demonstrating work in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design or a related field of study (academic qualifications are secondary, we judge applications solely on the basis of design portfolios)
Working knowledge of design tools like Sketch, Figma, Invision, Principle and Adobe Creative Suite (you don't need to be a software pro, the tools can always be picked up while on the job :))
Building user focused product strategies that are effective and adapted to different needs.
Drawing up a complete overview of the product and service through extensive research and market analysis, including identifying any bottlenecks and solutions.
Formulating compelling arguments and solutions to create positive impact.
Presenting ideas and thoughts in a coherent and cogent manner.
Building robust information architecture and elevating product simplicity by resolving and converging all information to just a few screens.
Using layout, colour and typography with clear visual hierarchy to create compelling compositions.
Performing design QA and working closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
Proactively driving communication with stakeholders to ensure concepts meet the intended project goals. This includes conveying design decisions, exchanging feedback, ensuring timelines are met, and so on.
Someone who takes pride in problem solving, researching, getting to the bottom of things and formulating solutions.
Someone with a keen aesthetic sensibility and the ability to craft visually appealing, pixel perfect designs with a high level of detail.
Someone who can take responsibility and deliver work on time. They must be willing to learn from their mistakes and improve.
Someone who understands the client’s requirements and can balance it with the consumer’s needs to build captivating visual solutions.
Someone who keeps teammates in the loop and asks for help at the right time makes task and project management easier.
Someone who can adapt to unexpected situations, prioritise and re-prioritise intelligently. A person willing to learn, upskill and simply get things done!

We provide accommodation to all our core team members in Panchgani, with all basic utilities covered including cleaning, electricity, water and lunch on all working days.

Our days at NOCT HQ often include mountain biking, running on table land, walks in the forest or a game of table tennis. Weekends bring treks, bonfires, impromptu music sessions and rafting in the dam. We live amidst nature, basking in the wonders of rural living, enjoying the simple pleasures and finding inspiration in the wild; all the while working just as one would in any metropolitan city. If you’re through the first round, we’ll set up a video interview with you. You will be required to share your screen and walk us through some of your work.
In case we feel that we need a better understanding of your design skills after the interview, we’ll ask you to complete a short design exercise.
You’ve come really far already! Now, all you need to do is show the NOCT core team that you are the best candidate for the role.
Selected candidates will be intimated and the onboarding process will begin. We will need you to sign the employment agreements before work begins.
